Today is Fill-in-the-Blank Day

Hi Peeps!

Seeing as yesterday was April Fool's Day ( and no, I was neither the pranker or prankee...maybe I'll be one or the other next year? ;) ), it reminded me of a thought I had when I was younger. You see, I was always sad that my birthday, which in April, rarely fell on or near a holiday. For some reason, this made me very sad and if I'm being honest, I am still somewhat disappointed as an adult. But what I now have, that I didn't have when I was young, is the internet. * cue explosion Danisnotonfire style* ( look him up:  https://www.youtube.com/user/danisnotonfire)

Any who, the point of this blog is about the fact that I now have possession of the internet ( in a really non-kidnappy way...that came out weird), I have discovered that there a TON of Celebratory Days/ weeks/ National Months of April that I didn't know about. Here's the official list:

I was aware of April Fools Day, Earth Day and that sometimes Good Friday and Easter happened in April, but National Shrimp Scampi Day and Blah, Blah, Blah Day? Among others, these are all so cool. But probably the one I'm most excited by is that fact that my birthday does in fact fall on a awesome national day. If I do say so myself.

Yes, that's right, I share my birthday with Pig in a Blanket Day. Since they are right up there as being one of my favorite foods, you can imagine just how pleased as punch I am with this discovery! More reason to eat them on my birthday I guess too. Le Yum!

My birth week is Administrative Assistants Week  and National Karaoke Week. Guess we know what people in the office will be doing after work! ;)

I encourage each and everyone of you to go look up your birthday, birth week and birth month. You may discover some interesting knowledge. And hey, if enough people start celebrating these days, maybe they'll start to print them on actual calendars. I'm looking at you Arbor Day.

Over and Meowt!
